Why We’re Different: Our practice goes beyond traditional chiropractic by working with the entire human frame and not just the spine. We use bio-mechanics, bio-chemistry and neurophysiology to assess the spine, joints, musculature, nerves and nutritional balance. Our patients come to us for back, neck and disc pain as well as headaches, fatigue, stress, flexibility, neuropathy, sports performance, injuries, TMJ, smoking cessation and as part of a healthy pregnancy. We have assisted women with natural childbirth. Our patients ages range from infants to the elderly and we customize our programs to suit each individual. About Dr. Michael Newman Dr. Newman is a Chiropractic physician practicing Rehabilitation and Acupuncture, helping his patients get well and stay well their whole lives. He has supported family wellness for many generations. His practice also focuses on spinal bio-mechanics and neurophysiology, spinal decompression for discs, low-level cold laser therapy (for pain, healing and smoking cession), therapeutic massage, anti-aging consultations, sport/auto/work injury treatment, and physician directed wellness programs using functional medicine. Many people trust Chiropractic for prevention of disease and pain management as well as overall lifestyle improvements. Chiropractic is a branch of the healing arts based on the principle that excellent health depends on a normally functioning nervous system. The cause of many disease processes begins with the body’s inability to adapt to its environment. It looks to address these diseases not by the use of drugs and chemicals, but by locating and correcting neuro-musculo-skeletal areas of the body which are functioning improperly. Dr. Newman’s practice is a holistic and multi-disciplinary clinic that incorporates Chiropractic, Acupuncture, and Medical Care. The patient coming to his clinic is seen as a whole person, not just a painful part of a person. With over 40 years of experience, Dr. Newman not only treats the symptoms but looks to the root of the cause and can provide many non-surgical approaches to health problems. Dr. Newman is active in many local civic and business organizations. He is past President of Temple Beth Or, past President of Rotary Club South Miami, past Vice-Chair of Miami-Dade County Schools District Citizens Advisory Committee, and a member of chiropractic organizations including The Florida Chiropractic Association.
